And you don’t need to know how to dance.
Actually, that’s the point.
First, discover the rhythm
The experience begins with approximately one hour of accessible, zero-level flamenco initiation.
Palmas, rhythm, compás, movement and a few simple ideas will help you understand what happens later during the party.
We are not trying to teach you flamenco in sixty minutes.
We want you to recognise it, feel it and be ready to join in.
Then the juerga begins
Now the guitar, singing and dancing take over.
For approximately two hours, flamenco artists create a private juerga exclusively for your group.
Suddenly, what you learned before makes sense. You recognise the rhythm. You can join the palmas. Someone may even decide to get up and try…
The distance between performer and audience begins to disappear.
This isn’t simply another flamenco show in Jerez.
You don’t come to watch the juerga. You become part of it.
